We’re Hiring: Safety in Design (SiD) Professional
📍 Location: Kuala Lumpur (KL-based)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Safety in Design (SiD) Professional to play a critical role in embedding health, safety, and environmental (HSE) considerations into the design and engineering phases of a data center project. The role ensures that risk mitigation strategies are integrated into design solutions, reducing hazards during construction, operation, and maintenance, while ensuring full compliance with local regulations and global best practices.

Who We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of design fundamentals and best practices in engineering and risk mitigation within high-risk, mission-critical environments such as data centers, industrial plants, or infrastructure projects.

Qualifications & Experience:
1) 5-10 years of experience in leading safety design for critical infrastructure (data centers, industrial plants, etc.).
2) Extensive knowledge of architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems in high-risk environments.
3) Strong expertise in fire and life safety, emergency systems, and risk-based design.
4) Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) for safety risk analysis (preferred).
5) Experience in Hazard & Operability (HAZOP) and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA).
6) Certifications: NEBOSH, CSP, CHST, or equivalent in Safety in Design (SiD).
