SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Job Responsibilities:
·       Manage overall quantity surveying functions for construction projects including pre-contract and post-contract activities.
·       Prepare cost estimation, budget analysis, tender documentation, BQ, and project costing.
·       Handle procurement activities including sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and appointment of suppliers/subcontractors.
·       Administer contracts in compliance with company policies, project requirements, and government regulations.
·       Monitor project costs and ensure projects are delivered within approved budget and timeline.
·       Liaise closely with consultants, contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, and relevant authorities including JKR/government agencies.
·       Ensure proper documentation and record management for contractual and procurement matters.
·       Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering initiatives throughout project execution.
·       Provide advice on contractual claims, dispute resolution, and risk mitigation.
·       Coordinate with project teams to ensure smooth project delivery and compliance with contractual obligations.
·       Prepare regular reports related to project costing, procurement status, and contract administration for Management review.
·       Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:
·       Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
·       Minimum 5 years of working experience in the construction industry.
·       Experience handling *Building & Infrastructure* projects is highly preferred.
·       Well versed in procurement, contract administration, or both.
·       Strong knowledge in tendering process, costing, budgeting, variation orders, and final accounts.
·       Familiar with standard forms of contracts and construction regulations.
·       Good negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
·       Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
·       Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
·       Preferably male candidate.
·       Malaysian Citizen only.
· Salary range : RM4,000.00 - RM6.500.00
