Position: Senior Manager, Fixed Income Marketplace (BR Capital)

We are looking for a commercially driven professional to support the growth and development of BR Capital as a digital fixed income marketplace.

📌 Role Purpose

In this role, you will be responsible for originating quality issuers, expanding investor participation, and supporting the successful execution of transactions.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

1. Origination & Pipeline Development
• Originate and onboard issuers, including SMEs, mid-tier corporates, and strategic partners
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of issuance opportunities
• Identify sectoral and thematic opportunities aligned with platform growth

2. Investor Coverage & Engagement
• Develop and manage relationships with institutional, corporate, and accredited investors
• Act as the primary point of contact for investor onboarding and engagement
• Drive repeat participation and strengthen investor retention

3. Transaction Execution & Credit Coordination
• Prepare and present credit proposals and investment cases
• Collaborate with rating agencies, legal advisors, and internal credit teams
• Support end-to-end execution from onboarding through to issuance completion

4. Marketing & Campaign Execution
• Support targeted investor outreach for fundraising campaigns
• Contribute to campaign positioning and development of communication materials

5. Platform & Ecosystem Development
• Build strategic partnerships to expand issuer and investor access
• Support initiatives to enhance marketplace efficiency and connectivity

6. Data Insights & Reporting
• Analyse investor behaviour and campaign performance
• Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making


Experience / exposure:
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in capital markets, corporate banking, or investment banking roles, with exposure to credit origination, fundraising, or fixed income.
• Passion for understanding the growth and application of Malaysia capital market products
• Proven ability to interact, influence and develop relationships and all levels/ function within the organization (including C-suite level leadership)
