Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer

♦️ Position : Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer
 📍 Location: PGEO Edible Oils, Lumut, Perak
PGEO Edible Oils Sdn. Bhd. (a subsidiary of Wilmar International Limited) is looking for a skilled and dedicated E&I Engineer to join our operations team at our refinery in Lumut.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:
 • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment including transformers, switchgears, motors, PLCs, flow meters, and analyzers.
 • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control system issues to reduce downtime.
 • Calibrate and verify functionality of pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
 • Support system upgrades, testing, and commissioning activities.
 • Interpret electrical drawings and P&IDs accurately.
 • Ensure all tasks comply with EHS standards and regulatory requirements.
 • Work closely with production teams to address operational issues.
 • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement projects.
 • Supervise contractors/vendors during project or maintenance work.
🎓 Job Requirements:
 • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, or a related discipline.
 • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or refinery operations.
 • Experience in palm oil or edible oil industry is a strong advantage.
 • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control circuits, PLCs (Siemens/Allen-Bradley), and field instrumentation.
 • Familiarity with DCS/SCADA systems and calibration practices.
 • Able to work independently, with good troubleshooting and communication skills.
 • Knowledge of local electrical regulations and safety procedures.
