Vantris Energy is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee Oil & Gas construction activities, ensuring safe and efficient project execution, compliance with quality standards, and successful project delivery.

📌 Position: Construction Manager
📍 Location: Miri, Sarawak
🏭 Industry: Oil & Gas

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project Planning and Execution
Develop construction plans, schedules, and strategies to achieve project objectives.
Define project scope, deliverables, resources, and performance targets.
Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and services.

2. Construction Management
Supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure safe and quality work execution.
Monitor site progress, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Provide technical guidance and resolve construction-related issues.

3. Resource Allocation and Management
Manage manpower, equipment, and materials to optimise productivity and control costs.
Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely resource availability.
Monitor resource utilisation and project expenses.

4. Stakeholder Communication
Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and attend project meetings.
Address stakeholder concerns and coordinate timely resolutions.

5. Risk Management and Problem-Solving
Identify project risks, hazards, and potential delays.
Implement mitigation and corrective actions to minimise project disruptions.
Resolve technical issues, design conflicts, and construction challenges.

6. Quality Assurance and Compliance
Ensure construction activities comply with applicable codes, standards, HSE, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Maintain quality records, non-conformance reports, and corrective action documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Advanced qualifications or professional certifications are an added advantage.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Minimum 10 years of working experience, including at least 5 years in Hook-up & Commissioning (HUC)
