Database Administrator (senior) Salary : OPEN Location : Bangsar South Email : alfiana.min@techtiera.com /0173800845 JD • Responsible for user administration and governance to ensure all access to database are fully managed and documented. • Responsible for database performance issue such as long-running queries and blocking queries. • Responsible for database-related activity such as replication, archive, backup/restore, encryption, audit logs as well as High Availability and Disaster Recovery capability • Responsible for any Proof of Concept related to database Requirement • Minimum 5 years of experience working as DBA, preferably Oracle and/or MySQL • Hands on experience on database monitoring and performance • Hands on experience on reading execution plan and find a way to improve it • Hands on experience on finding transactions lock • Hands on experience with Linux operating system • Hands on experience with shell scripting • Hands on experience with software development lifecycle and/or technical support • Hands on experience with database security • Hands on experience with database high availability • Preferably someone who has experience with cloud technology such as AWS and/or Alicloud
